What is Maker Faire?

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.

We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Glimpse the future and get inspired!

About Our Maker Faire

Who is the “Maker”? Is he a person who designs useful things? Is it necessary to have a talent to be one? In our opinion, “Making” is hidden inside everyone. It lays in the form of the need to express, create and realize our ideas.

Robisz.to Association – an organizer of Maker Faire Warsaw – is formed by community of Makers, professionals and hobbyists, who share a common passion for making and teaching others how to create based on technological knowledge and craftsmanship skills.

In our activity we treat these as tools to bring positive social changes, which we have the opportunity to observe during workshops and educational projects.
With Maker Faire Warsaw we are willing to show to the Polish environment how important the maker movment is.

With expecting more than 7500 attendee and 200 Makers, Maker Faire Warsaw 2020 will be the greatest event that would impact the maker movement in Warsaw, Poland and neighbouring countries.

Maker Faire originated in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a project of the editors of Make: magazine.  It has since grown into a significant worldwide network of both flagship and independently-produced events.  Read more on Maker Faire history, the Maker Movement, as well as how to start a Maker Faire or a School Maker Faire where you live.
