General Terms and Conditions

1-General

Robisz To Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser“) as the organiser of the Maker Faire Warsaw on the 12th of June 2021 (hereinafter referred to as the “Maker Faire“) allows the above-mentioned person or legal entity (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant“) to participate in the Maker Faire.

2-Registration / Conditions of Participation

Participation is only possible after successful admission to the Maker Faire. The registration form is binding. The participant is only admitted to the Maker Faire after written confirmation (e-mail is sufficient) from the organizer. The admission is only valid for the registered persons or the registered company with the registered products/services. A later change is only possible after written confirmation by the organizer. The participant undertakes to exhibit the pre-registered products for the entire duration of the event and to keep his booked stand constantly manned. By registering, the participant confirms that he/she has read and understood the conditions of participation, the Manual respective to his title (Maker, Speaker, Press..etc.) which will follow after the registration deadline (or will be send to him/her via email) and all other necessary regulations of the Maker Faire and declares his/her agreement to these by submitting the registration declaration. If the participant is a legal entity, the participant guarantees to be authorized accordingly.

3-Liability

The participant is responsible for his or her own material and/or presentation and/or other representation (“exhibition”) and takes part in the Maker Faire at his or her own risk. He is liable to the organizer, the visitors of the Maker Faire and/or third parties for his exhibition in accordance with the statutory provisions. The participant must obtain all necessary official or other permissions for his exhibition. The participant assures to be in possession of all necessary rights of use, should industrial property rights of third parties be affected by his exhibition. The participant shall indemnify the organizer from any claims of third parties in this respect. The organizer shall only be liable to the participant for damages caused by gross negligence or intentional breach of duty by the organizer himself, a legal representative or vicarious agent of the organizer. The liability for damages due to injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.

4-Termination/termination

The organizer has the right to exclude the participant unilaterally and without notice from the Maker Faire, should he/she violate the conditions listed here, as well as the conditions of the Manual. Such a case exists in particular if
the participant offers his products for sale to visitors and/or third parties without prior registration with the organizer. In addition, the organizer is entitled to make changes to the Maker Faire in cases of force majeure or due to official orders or security reasons, or to cancel the Maker Faire or to cancel it in advance. In these cases, the organizer is not liable for damages to the participant.

5-Right to one’s own image

The participant declares that he/she agrees to the free production and use of sound, video and/or image recordings on the occasion of the Maker Faire by the organizer for advertising purposes and/or editorial reporting in the Media. The participant waives the assertion of claims arising from his or her personal rights, which could arise from the use of the sound, video and/or image recordings. The participant also agrees that the organizer may forward the sound, video and/or image recordings to the operators of the event locations for the purpose of his own advertising measures after they have been viewed and selected. The Maker declares his or her consent to the organizer to present his project for advertising purposes and/or editorial coverage (“Meet the Makers”), he agrees to be mentioned by name.

6-Miscellaneous

The participant confirms to be 18 years or older. If the participant didn’t reach the age of 18, he/she must enclose a corresponding written permission to participate in the Maker Faire from his/her parents or legal guardians separately with these conditions of participation.
